Privacy Notice – Your personal data in our app

We care about your privacy. This notice explains in simple terms what personal information we collect when you register, why we use it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have.

What personal data we collect

Account data

When you create an account we collect and store:

• Your name and surname
• Your nickname
• Your email address
• Your password (stored in encrypted form)
• Optional: your profile picture
• Registration and email verification dates
• Last login date and login count

User content and submissions

When you use the service we may store:

• App and event submissions you contribute (title, URL, notes)
• Your selected "My Apps" collection and preferences
• Favourite tags derived from your choices (cached for performance)

Feedback

When you submit feedback on in-app notices:

• Feedback text and category
• Page URL where feedback was submitted
• Your IP address (for rate limiting and abuse prevention)
• Your user ID if you are logged in (feedback can also be anonymous)

Cookies and technical data

We use:

• Session cookie – to keep you logged in during your visit
• Remember-me cookie – if you choose "Keep me logged in" (30 days)

Our analytics provider (Google Analytics) may set cookies to understand site usage. See "Third parties" below.

Why we collect and use this information (purpose & legal basis)

We process your data for the following main reasons:

Keep the app secure & detect abuse	Our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

We do not use your data for marketing unless you give us separate, explicit permission.

How long do we keep your data?

We keep your account data while your account is active.

After you delete your account (or ask us to delete it), we usually remove your personal data within 30 days, unless we need to keep certain information longer because of legal obligations (for example accounting or fraud prevention rules).

Who else gets to see your data?

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share it only in these limited situations:

• Hosting and database providers – they store and process data on our behalf and act only on our instructions
• Brevo (Sendinblue) – we use Brevo to send service emails (e.g. registration confirmation, password reset). Your email address and name may be processed by Brevo for this purpose.
• Google Analytics – we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (pages viewed, general location, device type). This may involve cookies. You can opt out via Google's opt-out browser add-on.
• Legal requirements – if required by law, court order or public authorities
• Business transfers – in case of merger, acquisition or sale of (part of) our business

All these parties are required to protect your data appropriately.

Your rights (very important!)

Under EU/EEA data protection law (GDPR) you have the following rights:

• Right to know what data we hold about you
• Right to get a copy of your data
• Right to correct inaccurate data
• Right to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Right to restrict processing in some situations
• Right to object to certain processing
• Right to data portability (get your data in a common format)

You can exercise these rights at any time by emailing us at robert@dappvisory.com.

We usually answer within one month.

You can also delete your account directly in the app settings – this will trigger deletion of your personal data (subject to the exceptions explained above).

You always have the right to lodge a complaint with your national Data Protection Authority (in the Netherlands: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens – www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. We will inform you about important changes (for example by email or in-app message).
